Nominet - Changes to .uk Domain Name rules.

Following consultation on changes to the Rules of Registration and Use of Domain Names that closed in May 2006, Nominet has announced that there will be a changes to the .ltd.uk, .plc.uk and .me.uk rules when appying for one of these .uk names.

The rules form part of the contract of registration of a .uk name and come into force after 30 days notice. The new rules are now available on the Nominet web site.

These rules will apply from 2 July 2006.
